New year - neue Sprache

Surprise surprise, we are switching language, but since we aren't THAT German yet, we will stick with English. Our American friends in Berlin (amongst others) have complained about not understanding a word that is written on our blog. We might throw in some paragraphs in Swedish every now and then in order to keep them humble.

So what has happened since our last post? Quite a bit. Well, since we almost never blog.

We went back to Stockholm for the holidays, which was nice. Liv flew like a boss. Well in Sweden we were able to meet up friends and family that we hadn't seen in a while which was really nice.

New years were spent with two other couples with babies just a few weeks/months younger than Liv. It was an evening filled with really good food, good and uplifting conversations, crying children and changing of diapers. Even though the ladder two things don't sound that exciting, the truth is that this was probably one of the best new years party that we have ever attended. The only sad thing was that it came to an end way too soon.

When we came back to Berlin we still had a few days together before Emil went back to work and "real life" started. Always make sure to have a free day when coming back from a vaccation. Makes life easier.
Those days were mostly spent washing the laundry from our trip, grocery shopping and finally meeting up with our americanos again.

Liv has started to eat solid food and is enjoying the apple sauce. The chicken, rice and vegetables was not as exciting. At least that is how we chose to interpret her shudders and naseus looking facial expressions.
Liv is turning 6 months in 12 days, and it is amazing that this little lady has been with us for that long. Time really flies.

Farmor Annya and Liv are cooking something. Liv is giving instuctions. And yes, she can allready read.

Up to this point, Liv was the most energetic party guest. Unfortuneately she went out cold a few hours before midnight. We have to teach her the principle of not going out too strong in the beginning.

The only thing that's better than sitting on dads shoulders is to sit on dads shoulders and pull his hair really hard and maybe taste it a little.

Me and two of my hot and sweet American friends riding the S-bahn like true Berliners.

The best thing in Livs life so far is that this suit now fits her. We lauged so hard when we first saw her in it. She was just too adorable!

Life is good when you're in the bath with your Quietscheentschen (rubber duck).

Hon är ju sjukt söt på alla bilder, men jag älskar bilden från nyår! Mest energi i världen!
